As commercial collection agency accounts, we use a network of investigators that conduct asset-liability investigations.  They also interview creditors, vendors, suppliers and associated banks.  Where necessary they make personal visits to record vehicles, equipment, and tools present at that location.

We, as a collection agency, use this information to determine what the company has and what they can pay.  Often, these businesses will claim that sales and foot traffic have fallen, and, therefore, they are unable to pay.  Sometimes, this is true and other times we send them pictures of their business showing a bustling  parking lot with customers entering and leaving the premises.  If the business is doing poorly, we record this information to compel the company owners not to hide assets during voluntary or involuntary bankruptcy liquidation.
